A considered read on direction before it sets in concrete. Brand and product direction, architecture, and the technical calls that are expensive to reverse. I've sat in the rooms where those calls get made, including partner meetings with IBM on a client's behalf.

Background
Two decades in software, spanning architecture, design, and technical leadership. I've scoped engagements at the RFP stage, set technical direction for high-profile brands, led cross-functional teams, and translated fluently between individual engineers and C-level stakeholders.
That work has reached deep into the enterprise, including a consulting engagement on compliance infrastructure for regulated workloads that named me on several dozen patents, and into the high-stakes rooms, such as partner meetings with IBM on a client's behalf.
It has never been only code. I bring brand and product strategy, design, and years of large-scale event and community leadership to the table. I also build and run my own products, which keeps me close to the full arc of a thing: direction, pricing, and the unglamorous middle.
